The Belen Area Radio Controllers (Valencia County, New Mexico) was founded in 1989 and incorporated in 1991. The purpose of the club, as stated in the Constitution and By-Laws"shall be to promote radio controlled model aircraft building and flying in the general Belen Area", Los Lunas, Peralta and Bosque Farms, NM area. Membership in the Belen Area Radio Controllers (BARC) Club is open to anyone interested in model aviation.
All BARC members must also be members of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) and hold a FAA Recreational Licence.
Prospective BARC members can apply to all three organizations at the same time
